Re-Love
Re-Love is a clothing brand from Denmark that makes stylish clothes from upcycled clothes. Their inventory choices and their upcycling practices create a unique shopping experience that allows for fashionable and eco-friendly clothing choices.
Re-Love approached us about creating a sophisticated balance of modern web design practices that pushes utility for product visibility and engagement when shopping their product offerings. They wanted to ensure effective brand communication, streamline the shopping process, and convert customers effectively.
Business Challenges
While Re-Love’s sustainable fashion concept was rather unique, their website needed to be improved in terms of product navigation, content organization, and customer engagement. The customers had difficulty navigating the site, understanding Re-Love’s sustainability, and were unable to make purchasing decisions.
- Limited Product Discovery: The users had difficulties exploring the products effectively due to navigation constraints and the inability to categorize the content properly. This was problematic in helping users discover fashionable products that interested them.
- Sustainability Message Gaps: There was no clear emphasis on sustainability throughout the customer’s purchase journey with the brand. The significant advantages from an environmental perspective and principles of circular fashion were not conveyed effectively.
- Fragmented Collection Browsing: There was no efficient way for customers to navigate through different sections when looking for a collection of products. Customers had difficulty switching between categories when searching for a collection of products.
- Low Conversion Opportunities: There were numerous pages dedicated to the brand; however, many of those pages were not created to help potential buyers make a purchase. In the absence of clear guidelines, the visitors of the website had no intent to purchase.
- Product Search Limitations: It was hard for customers to search for and find products on the website, and they often wasted time and energy trying to find the products they wanted. Sometimes they left the website empty-handed and frustrated.
Solutions
We helped Re-Love create a better and more functional site by improving search and purchase ease. This resulted from improved site navigation, new communication functions for responding to customer questions, and functions for assisting customer search for desired products. This helped us serve both the customer and Re-Love.
- Enhanced Product Discovery: We enhanced how customers can find products on the website and improved the overall product search. We also enhanced how product listings are organized on the website. Customers are more likely to navigate the website and search for products because of these enhancements.
- Stronger Sustainability Storytelling: We focused on messaging that describes how your sustainability applies to your products and customers and your brand values on various pages. This strengthens the emotional loyalty of your customer base and positions Re-Love in its own space in the market.
- Unified Collection Experience: We improved the collection experience and made it easier to interact with and find category relations. As a result, the frustration from customers in the collection experience was minimized, and focused browsing was improved.
- Conversion-Focused Design: Better layouts and well-positioned action words like calls to action were integrated into each page on the website. This increased interaction on the website and ultimately improved the conversion rate.
- Optimized Search Experience: The pathway to search for and filter products was improved to help customers work less and more easily find the products they are looking for. This significantly improved the user experience for customers.
